About

Simcomm builds it. And answers for it.

Simplified Communications Pvt. Ltd. is an Indian software company and AcuityQ™ is its work. The intellectual property in the platform is owned by Simcomm; it is not licensed in, resold, or a rebadge of somebody else's product.

Deep, not wide

AcuityQ started from a specific complaint, repeated by several operations heads: the CRM recorded that a case existed and the spreadsheet recorded what it was worth, and neither could say whether the promise in the contract had been kept.

The answer was not a bigger CRM. It was every desk built on one record, with the measurement designed in rather than reported on afterwards — three clocks instead of one, a discount policy that refuses rather than warns, a duplicate engine that blocks rather than flags, and a change trail that is a property of the database rather than a feature somebody enables.

There are eleven modules now, and they are deep in one direction rather than wide in every direction. AcuityQ does not try to be a marketing suite, a BI platform, an order management system or an identity provider — which is why every platform page ends with a list of what that module does not do, and why the comparison page names four situations in which you should buy something else.

How we build

Four things we have decided, and live with

The trail is not optional

Every governed object records who changed what, from what, to what and when — and it cannot be configured off, because a trail with an off switch is not a trail. This costs us the occasional deal with a buyer who wanted it off. That is the correct outcome.

The person who demonstrates it configures it

There is no handover from a sales engineer to an implementation partner to a support tier. The escalation path is short enough to name, which is only possible because we have kept the product narrow.

Configuration over development

SLA targets, discount bands, routing rules, roles and capabilities are settings your own people change, with the change recorded. A product where every policy needs a release is a product you will stop changing.

We say what is not there

The security page lists the controls that are still being confirmed. The platform pages each carry what the module does not do. This is cheaper than finding out together in week six of a procurement.

Ownership and the name

AcuityQ™ is a product of Simplified Communications Pvt. Ltd., trading as Simcomm. The mark is used with a because a trade mark application is pending rather than granted. When registration is granted and in force for the relevant class, the symbol changes — and not before, because claiming a registration you do not hold is an offence under section 107 of the Trade Marks Act.

The demonstration at demo.acuityq.ai is operated by Simcomm and is seeded with invented data. No customer's records are in it, and nothing typed into it survives a reset.
